Summary/Abstract: The teacher's didactic discourse can incorporate linguistic and cultural tools from cinema that allow the student to be immersed in a vast universe. The current approach to foreign language learning is "action-based," considering the learner as "a social actor" who must carry out tasks within the society in which he or she evolves. Film can contribute to the achievement of educational objectives as an authentic document. To achieve the expected results, films must be included in a coherent didactic approach. Our perspective on the construction of interpersonal relationships is situated in the context of the pragmatics of verbal exchanges, but the approach opens up to include elements of sociology and psychology. This analysis shows how the presence of the principle of cooperation avoids the conflict that simmers from the first response.
