Summary/Abstract: The paper examines the similarities and differences in the mathematics curricula for grades 5–7 in Bulgaria and Turkey. The comparison covers the content of key topics such as algebra, geometry and statistics, as well as differences in teaching and assessment approaches. The analysis explores methods of developing mathematical thinking and differences in emphasis on theoretical and practical skills. The results demonstrate that while the content is similar, there are differences in the structure of the curricula and the time allocated to specific topics.
