The relevance of the given problem is confirmed by the use of information technologies, which allows for the formation of new educational models that provide an opportunity to remain in the relevant area of scientific and technical progress, significantly enrich and diversify the teaching of technical disciplines. The analysis of the works of domestic and foreign pedagogical literature in the aspect of the researched problem shows that: distance learning is a form of obtaining education, in which the basis of the educational process is the purposeful and controlled intensive independent work of the student of education with the help of special learning tools under the guidance of a teacher. The distance education educational process takes place in a specific pedagogical system, the elements of which are subsystems: goals, content, methods, means, organizational forms of education, etc. It is noted that the distance learning environment is characterized by the fact that education is provided to students directly at the place of residence or temporary stay. Emphasis is placed on the fact that technical disciplines have certain specificities that require the use of tools in the conditions of distance courses, namely: lectures with audiovisual support, interactive lectures, multimedia presentations for practical work, online laboratory works, interactive elements. It has been proven that the high-quality organization of distance learning requires large material and intellectual costs from the educational institution and its teaching staff.
