Summary/Abstract: The hypothesis of this study is that the integration of Anglicisms into the Romanian language is significantly influenced by journalism and the written press, which play a crucial role in shaping public perception, acceptance, and the overall process of Anglicization in Romanian. This process reflects broader trends of globalization and language evolution.The present study explores how modern journalism and the written press significantly influence the integration of English words and phrases into the Romanian language. It also examines the historical context of Anglicisms and their growing prevalence in various fields, including technology, business, and popular culture. Through analyzing media content, the article highlights the ways in which journalists and publications not only introduce new terms but also shape public perception and acceptance of these linguistic changes. The study concludes that the written press plays a crucial role in both the spread of Anglicisms and the overall Anglicization process of Romanian, reflecting broader trends of globalization and language evolution.
