Summary/Abstract: The article examines the focus of the educational process in modern schools in China and Ukraine on the patriotic upbringing of younger schoolchildren, which is impossible without the involvement of students in the study of folk music and folk traditions. It was determined that the issue of forming strong moral attitudes, such as patriotism, spirituality, and morality, is an acute issue today. In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Culture and official directives in the People’s Republic of China, the formation of civic consciousness, awareness of one’s ethnic and national affiliation, spiritual and moral education, the formation of a respectful attitude to the history and culture of one’s own and other peoples, is the mandatory introduction of a national-regional component into the musical art program in general educational institutions. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to "warm up" students’ interest in their native culture from the first meeting and throughout the following years of study. It is noted that the subjects of the aesthetic cycle have a unique opportunity to introduce the national-regional component in lessons from the first year of schooling. One of the main tasks of the subject "Musical Art" is the formation of a sense of love for the Motherland, without which it is impossible to raise a citizen and patriot, to form a sense of self-worth in a child. Introducing students to the world of music through the intonations and images of the national musical culture has a positive effect on the formation of family values, which constitute the spiritual and moral wealth of the culture and art of the people, which is specified in the educational standard. Turning to works of folklore and musical education using the examples of national folk music has become a relevant topic today. The article provides an overview of traditional Chinese chamber-vocal music. These are numerous lyrical and other genres closely related to classical Chinese poetry, play on the price, and theater. The place of vocal genres in the structure of traditional Chinese musical culture is considered, and their figurative and expressive features are briefly outlined. Chinese folk music requires considerable skill to perform. The article contains information about the most famous authors and performers of this music. It is concluded that China has a centuries-old chamber music and vocal tradition in its existence; calls patriotism the leading personality quality that must be instilled in pupils in general educational institutions.
