Summary/Abstract: The following reading material is a part of a dissertation entitled “Building and formation of the clarinet embouchure”. It aims to explore various theories in regards to the embouchure’s formation and influence on performance. It also presents an analysis of both benefits and disadvantages of the various embouchure concepts.
