Summary/Abstract: The paper analyzes the problem of transporting foodstuffs in termsof legal requirements and selected technical conditions. The purpose of thework was to evaluate the procedure of practically applying the provisions of the ATP Convention in the field of documentation, technical means of transportand monitoring the parameters of transport conditions, as well as the directionsof development in the processes of transport and logistics of food products.The methodology used in the study of the food products distribution enterpriseand the critical analysis of documents made it possible to identify the mainvectors of optimization of food transportation processes through the implementationof permanent monitoring of cargo conditions at each stage of the logisticsand transportation process. The conclusions also indicate the important role oftraining in the process of optimizing food transportation.
