Summary/Abstract: The article deals with general pedagogical issues related to the performance of singing activities in music lessons and on this basis highlights some important rules that directly affect the process of compiling instrumental accompaniment to the song material, focusing on folk songs. In this regard, some issues related to the harmonization of folk songs are clarified.
