Summary/Abstract: The article presents an assessment of road traffic safety risks posedby foreign drivers on Polish roads. Based on data published in official Policereports, indicators of accident involvement attributable to non-Polish nationalswere determined, alongside evaluations of accident severity and their spatialdistribution across voivodeships. Furthermore, the dynamics of accidentscaused by foreign drivers were compared with trends in immigrant populationgrowth. The results of the analysis suggest that neither the frequency nor theseverity of accidents involving foreign drivers significantly diverge fromcorresponding statistics for Polish drivers.
