Summary/Abstract: Terminology is the nucleus of specialized vocabulary by the fact that it contributes to understanding and assimilating information about indispensable quality of social processes. That is an international concern, most countries making efforts to complete, organize and standardize it. The present linguistic politics is part of global politics, language becoming in this context a strategic element for economical and political extralinguistic purposes. From the perspective of a contemporary public, the terminology used in the 19th century may appear as borrowing some characteristics from slang, both having this image of secret language for literates. However, while slang speakers enjoy more freedom in choosing words, in the case of specialized vocabulary this freedom is limited by the abstract nature of notions and represented realities. The Romanian Constitutional Texts from the beginning of the 19th century are juridical-administrative documents with a rich terminology at the root. They show evidence of the archaic romanian language, the different evolutional levels of both romanian and french languages (the distance between the evolution of the two languages, the Romanian language that crystallized its litterary styles at the end of the 19th century and the French language that did the same thing five centuries earlier), the characteristics of juridicaladministrative language, the ideals of two countries faced to multiple changes. The juridical-administrative language known as the pole 0 of litterary style is characterized by restraint, the use of referential statements, omission of figures of speach. Nevertheless, our attention will be concentrated in this article on morphological aspects, lexical-semanthic analysis, French-Romanian terminological correspondences.
