Summary/Abstract: In modern armed conflicts, civilians are the main victims. The International Committee of the Red Cross currently registers around 130 armed conflicts around the world, in which thousands of civilians lose their lives. This report analyses the conflict in Gaza for the period 2023-2025, identifying and investigating the systematic violations of international humanitarian law, expressed in widespread starvation, destruction of vital services and mass displacement of the population. On this basis, de lege ferenda texts are proposed, aimed at improving the protection of civilians in armed conflicts in urban environments
