Summary/Abstract: The sustainable earthquake awareness level of special education students plays a crucial role in addressing the challenges faced by children with special needs before and after an earthquake. This study aims to examine the sustainable earthquake awareness levels of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade special education department students involving a total of 286 according to various variables. Descriptive analysis, independent sample t-test, ANOVA, and ANCOVA tests were conducted using SPSS. As a result of the independent sample t-test, no significant difference was found in special education department students according to gender. There was no significant difference between the classes for the ANOVA test. As a result of using general competence belief as a covariate in the ANCOVA test, a significant difference was found in favor of the 2nd-grade students of the special education department with the 4th grade. It is recommended that natural disaster and emergency literacy should be a compulsory course and that the special education department should join applications with organizations such as AFAD.
