The study group consisted of 381 Turkish teachers working in state secondary schools in Gaziantep province in the 2023-2024 academic year. The research data were collected with the metaphor application form prepared by the researchers and analyzed with content analysis. Metaphors were evaluated with their justifications and were grouped under 11 different categories considering their common features.
