Summary/Abstract: This study evaluates the significance of social integration for ethnic minorities, immigrants, and refugees, whose numbers have risen considerably in recent years. To this end, a content analysis was conducted on the representative works of scholars from various countries and legal specialists from the Republic of Moldova. By examining the legal status of ethnic minorities, the authors identified the most valuable model of social integration and substantiated the study’s conclusion: as the process of European integration progresses, the monitoring and safeguarding of minority rights become increasingly critical. The authors emphasize the practical aspects of integrating ethnic minorities, particularly the identification of integration indicators through the analysis of data on employment, literacy rates, language acquisition, societal values, and mechanisms ensuring representation in the public sector.
