In accounting practice, there are numerous challenges related to the accounting of inventories. Proper management of inventories involves addressing important issues regarding the recognition, evaluation, and use of accounting accounts specific to inventory movements. Correct inventory valuation is a fundamental aspect of financial accounting, as it has a direct impact on the financial statements, economic results, and tax obligations of an entity.
