CONSIDERATIONS ABOUT ACCOUNTING OF UNPREDESTINED MEANS IN NON-COMERCIAL ORGANIZATIONS

Summary/Abstract: Non-commercial organizations use various sources of funding to carry out their statutory activities. In particular, they are based on donations from individuals, companies or other organizations to finance their activities. These sources can be special-purpose and non-purposeful means. The unpredestined means are essential for supporting and developing noncommercial organizations, enabling them to carry out their statutory mission effectively. The accounting of non-destined means involves specific particularities regarding recognition, evaluation and registration in accounting accounts. The accounting record of unapredestined funds in non-commercial organizations is complex and raises some problems, given their non-profit nature and varied sources of funding. In order to resolve these non-conformities, it is recommended to concretize the recognition and evaluation of unappropriated funds in accordance with the specifics of the activity of non-commercial organizations, as well as to reflect the accounting records schemes related to the recording of unpredestined means according to the particularities of the activity of non-commercial entities. To manage these issues, non-commercial organizations must adopt clear accounting and reporting policies and procedures, work with accountants and auditors specialized in the nonprofit sector, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. These measures will facilitate transparent and open communication with donors and other stakeholders, as well as help build trust and support for the organization.
