Summary/Abstract: Law is the guarantee of freedom, and freedom is not possible without truth. That is why I chose to share with you some of the thoughts about the long road of justice to the truth. You will understand what the problem is only if you stop focusing on the events that occur here and there. So, for a clear picture we have to pan a bit. The matter needs to be analyzed in more depth, so we will discuss the challenges of judicial management in crisis situations, referring to old problems and new challenges for justice, a term which, for the purposes of these short notes, I will rather use in the sense of system judicially, never forgetting that Justice, in its noblest sense, means truth in action, or the glorious crown of virtue. We emphasize that some of today's problems of Justice are at the same time historical, chronicled and have their roots in the nearer or more distant past of our social-political life. Perhaps many of these problems would not have been felt if in our post-December judiciary, i.e. in the judicial system after 1990, it had not started with the proclamation of immovability, but prior to that with the proclamation of a „lustration” in the judiciary, in the sense that all those who, in 1989, were simultaneously part of both the judiciary in a broad sense (judges, prosecutors) and the Security should have been „invited” by law to leave the judiciary, stopped from entering the democratic judiciary and independent organization organized after 1990.
