Summary/Abstract: The presented text, based on contemporary sources and documents, shows that modernization anti-feminism became an immanent part of communist strategy and ideology already in the 1920s. In Czechoslovakia, in May 1945, it then became a conceptual and organizational tool for the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia (KSČ), which gradually liquidated the independent women's movement and restricted the autonomy of women, as well as their gender subjectivity, identity, and creativity.
