Summary/Abstract: Political situation in the Subcarpathian Ruthenia between two world wars was very dificult. The most important question was a autonomy of Subcarpathian Ruthenia territory. The autonomy issue of the Subcarpathian Ruthenia was resolved within the 1920 Constitution, however the autonomy was not estabilished in fact. The Subcarpathian Ruthenia received a autonomy in october 1938, but not for long. In March 1939, the territory was invaded by Hungary. The Subcarpathian Ruthenia was under Hungarian administration until 1945. On 29. June 1945 the territory was annexed to Soviet Ukraine.
