Summary/Abstract: With the growth of journalistic genres in Rusyan media, the problem of using the names and abbreviations of various organizations, institutions, political parties, objects, offices, states, etc. became very topical. In the article, we try to map frequently used names, which are the most problematic, as evidenced by their use in an incorrect and inconsistent form. An important part of our contribution is the tabular treatment of names, which lists the official names used in the Slovak language and examples of their translation by the editors of Rusyn electronic media into the Rusyn language. The basic material for our analysis was drawn from news and publicist programs broadcast by the public media Radio and Television of Slovakia (Radio news) and Internet radio Rusyn.fm (Flash news). In the table, we present the correct Rusyn forms of specific names, respectively, we reconstruct our own proposals to their normative form.
