Summary/Abstract: The study focuses on the syntactic structure and linguistic elements in the ecclesiastical texts of bishop Andrei Bachinsky. It analyzes various types of syntagms and sentence constituents, examining the use of subjects, predicates, non-concordant attributes, objects, and other syntactic elements. The texts display a combination of simple and compound sentences, reflecting the complexity of ideas and connections within ecclesiastical and national themes. The work also includes a lexical analysis, identifying church slavonic, rusyn, and internationalized lexemes that document linguistic development influenced by Latin and Greek liturgical traditions. We analyze graphemes such as ѧ, ѹ҃, ѿ, and ѣ, which were gradually replaced by simplified graphemes in modern rusyn. This study contributes to a better understanding of the syntactic and lexical structures in Bachinsky’s writings and clarifies their significance for the historical development of linguistic norms in the rusyn language.
