Summary/Abstract: The article looks at how primary school pupils' national and ethnic identities are formed through both official and informal education. Questionnaires were used to gather views and actual needs related identity development from instructors and children in grades three and four in order to support the research. Through activities unique to non-formal education, the data analysis will aid in the creation of a pedagogical model that will help young school-age pupils solidify their sense of national identity. The MugurașiiFolk Ensemble from Agăș, Bacau County, will host the practical component, offering a genuine setting for passing along folk customs and values. The findings are intended to demonstrate how formal and informal schooling work in tandem to create a lasting identity that is tailored to the contemporary multicultural environment.
