Summary/Abstract: We bring you an interview with Prof. MUDr. Aleksi Šed, DrSc., physician, biochemist, pathobiochemist and head of the Institute of Biochemistry and Experimental Oncology of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague and, within its framework, the Laboratory of Tumor Cell Biology, a joint workplace of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and the Institute of Physiology. From 2012 to 2020, he served as Dean of the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague, and from September 2020 to January 2021, he was Deputy Minister of Health of the Czech Republic.
