Summary/Abstract: The article examines the basic notion and the feminist criticism of pornography which is a part of the political struggle against discrimination and ex¬ploitation of women on a wider scale. By studying the content of Serbian tabloids after 2000 which are dominated by interpretative journalism, messages of political extremism and a pornographic representation of women, the author analyses the role of pornography in the press in promotion of anti-democratic values. The aforementioned innovations use soft and hard pornography on front pages, by taking at the same time the authoritarian and patriarchal position by glorifying the strategy of military leaders and political actors after the Milosevic regime. Starting from the presumption that at the ideological plan this misogynistic pornographic content confirms the ideological values and gender identities of authoritarian patriarchate, the study demonstrates how the aforementioned two forms of representations, the tabloid journalism and pornography emerge in joint, misogyny, patriarchal, macho and political and radical pattern.
