Summary/Abstract: This article offers a reinterpretation of craft as a form of embodied knowledge, framing it within a broad understanding of poiesis as a creative act of revealing and becoming. Starting with the etymology of ars, techne, and poiesis, the author explores tensions between technical knowledge and intuitive activity, highlighting their philosophical and anthropological implications. The second part discusses selected concepts by Heidegger, Sennett, Ingold, and Dewey, contrasted with examples of contemporary artistic and design-based craft practices. The final section presents craft as a form of embodied, rhythmic, and relational knowledge – grounded in material dialogue. The article argues that making can be treated as a cognitive act, and craft – as an unconventional tool of anthropological inquiry.
