RECORDS ON OPOJA DURING PRE MEDIAEVAL PERIOD

Summary/Abstract: Scientific work Records on Opoja during pre mediaeval period offers a non researched antic dimension of this very interesting region. Attempts were focused in bringing the undeniable facts that testify that Opoja since the early times was inhabited by Illyro Albanian element. These records were grounded by archaeological and onomastic vestiges found in Opoja, but also by the conclusions of authentic scholars, without ignoring mentioning of tendentious approaches of Serbian historiography. Taking as whole, it can be concluded very certainly that Opoja is a very interesting zone with very rich cultural heritage.
