Summary/Abstract: The publication of Véronique Popinet's photo album, From One Moldovan River to Another: Stories Along the Water [Romanian title: Prut şi Nistru, râuri care leagă maluri. Povestiri pe firul apei], published by Cartier, significantly enriches three particular fields: humanist photography, Franco-Moldovan relations, and visual Francophonie. This ambitious project is part of a broader context of cultural diplomacy, international and regional relations, European actions, and interlinguistic cooperation. It promotes interinstitutional partnerships and, above all, intercultural and interdisciplinary dialogue between languages, cultures, places, individuals, arts (photographic and literary), and social realities.
