Summary/Abstract: The subject of this master's thesis is the attitudes and opinions of parents regarding the curriculum and the role of educators in physical education instruction in preschool institutions in Banja Luka. The issue of physical education in preschool settings is gaining increasing importance in modern pedagogical approaches, as it represents a crucial aspect of a child's overall development at an early age. In its broadest sense, physical education influences not only the physical abilities of children but also the development of their social, cognitive, and emotional skills. Parents, as primary figures in children's lives, play a key role in shaping attitudes towards physical education, as their involvement and support in teaching activities directly impact children's motivation and engagement in physical activities. On the other hand, educators and professional teams in preschool institutions are responsible for developing children's motor skills through physical education classes, as well as providing the emotional and social support necessary for the child's holistic development. This study aims to determine how parents perceive the preschool physical education curriculum and their attitudes toward the role of educators in implementing this program. Special attention will be given to assessing the cooperation between parents and educators, as well as the impact of this collaboration on the quality of teaching and children's development. By examining these perspectives, the research seeks to contribute to a better understanding of the needs of preschool-aged children and offer recommendations for improving physical education instruction through enhanced collaboration between parents and educators. The findings of this study may have practical implications for improving educational practices in preschool institutions and developing new strategies that actively involve parents in the physical education process.
