Summary/Abstract: This case study describes the criminal proceedings conducted by the National Drug Headquarters of the Criminal Police and Investigation Service under the codename "Palette." The investigation documented the criminal activities of a Turkish national who acted as a heroin importer into the Czech Republic and subsequently as a chlor(pseudo)ephedrine dealer. The proceedings required proving that the unregulated substance, chlor(pseudo)ephedrine, was intended for methamphetamine production.
