Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the study was to investigate the potential relationships occurring between spiritual care, self-compassion, compassion for others and dispositional forgiveness in clergy. The mediating role of self-compassion and compassion for others in the relationship between spiritual care and dispositional forgiveness was verified. A total of 183 people participated in the study. The following tools were used: Spiritual Care Questionnaire, Self-Compassion Scale, Compassion for Others Scale, and Forgiveness Scale. Analyses showed positive statistically significant associations between spiritual care and dispositional forgiveness, as well as between self-compassion and compassion for others and forgiveness and spiritual concern. In addition, both self-compassion and compassion for others had a mediating function in the relationship of spiritual care with dispositional forgiveness in clergy individuals.
