Summary/Abstract: This article examines the male FIFA World Cup in Qatar through the lens of the German newspaper Bild. To interpret this coverage, it discusses German Soft Power and Leitkultur policies and the influence of the Islamic world on the current European map. Finally, based on these previously articulated discussions, the article categorizes and analyzes the 82 collected articles.
