Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is to present the multidimensional interactivity of the reportages Pretty and Obedient and Life After Life Reportage from Mariusz Szczygieł’s collection Nie ma (There Is No). The essence of interactivity lies in the attribution of meaning and the mutual influence between the stimuli of the sender and the receiver, the author and the reader. It should be noted that, in the context of the interactivity we discuss, the first reportage acted as a stimulus that triggered various interactions, while the second was the author’s reflection summarizing these reactions. In this article, we argue – using the example of these reportages – that reportage, as a journalistic genre, through its interactivity, immersiveness, and affectivity, can engage readers emotionally to such an extent that it not only has the potential to create networks of relationships among readers themselves and between readers and the author but also motivates them to take action.
