Summary/Abstract: This article invites reflection on what individualisation in language education truly entails. It reviews the challenges associated with its implementation in Polish schools as well as its perception by teachers. It also evaluates the extent to which learners’ perspectives are considered in educational practice. The first part presents a practical view of how individualisation is implemented in the Polish educational context, with particular emphasis on the challenges faced by teachers. The second part explores questions related to students’ needs, expectations, and readiness to engage in individualised learning. The final section outlines selected practical pedagogical strategies that may support the effective implementation of individualisation within the framework of inclusive education.
