Summary/Abstract: The article presents the problem of the stimulation of the second language learning bystudents with particular difficulties in reading and writing (developmental dyslexia). Sincedyslexic students show multiple disorders in learning not only foreign languages but alsotheir mother tongue, it is essential to provide them with special support during their foreignlanguage classes. The problems discussed in the article concerns the characteristic of thedisorders, their influence on the second language learning and the emerging difficulties. Thekey element of the discussion is the analysis of the opportunities to support dyslectic studentsduring foreign language classes by implementing the principles of inner differentiation andindividualization, which take into account the student’s particular needs and individualfeatures.
