Summary/Abstract: First part of the paper focuses on the definition of globalization and describes its current problems. It points at transnational corporations (TNC), which are the main subject of the globalization process, and consequences of their activities. The report deals with the origin of this crisis, the development, and its impact on the Slovak economy. The second part of the paper focuses on the customer relationship management (CRM) and globalisation. The paper characterizes a new Y- generation of customers-global generation. The next part of the article dedicates to actual trends, which are visible in customer and corporate CRM behaviour. It includes 5 basic trends in application of the-CRM software. The last part of the article deals with the current situation of CRM in the Slovak Republic.
