Summary/Abstract: Part of the research activities of the 3gRETROspective project, this article aims to investigate the means of constructing female characters in the five plays selected by the project’s team: "The Sleepy Adventure" author Teodor Mazilu (1964), "The Second Love" author Corneliu Leu (1965), "The Road to Everest" author George Genoiu (1975), "Nascendo" author Alina Nelega (1995) and "This Animal that Hurts Itself" author Teona Galgoțiu (2019).
