Short Description
Cercetări teatrale (Theatrical Research) is a biannual journal, created in 2020 and published by the Theatrical and Multimedia Research Institute of the University of Arts Târgu-Mureș. Emerging from the need to promote the history of Romanian, Hungarian and German theater in Transylvania, in a European and universal context, the journal Cercetări teatrale publishes original texts, structured in several sections: conferences, studies and research in the field of theater and performing arts; reviews and chronicles; Restitutio, dedicated to lesser-known authors and plays. All articles are published on a peer review basis, and the studies benefit from English summaries and keywords. The issues of the journal are available in print and online, representing useful tools for all those interested in the memory of Transylvanian theater and, by extension, from all over the world.
