Summary/Abstract: "The digital circular economy is considered the sustainable solution in terms of resource use. However, a comprehensive analysis reveals that the integration of digital technologies into circular models also generates a series of unintended consequences. This article analyzes the possible negative implications of digitalization in the circular economy, in particular the impact on the environment, the labor market, economic competitiveness and the regulatory framework. It also proposes public policy measures aimed at ensuring an orderly, sustainable and inclusive transition."
