FEATURES OF THE FORMATION OF CULTURAL-LINGUISTIC PRAGMATISM IN THE INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Summary/Abstract: The relevance of the article is related to the realities of the modern educational space, which is characterized by pluralistic and multicultural principles of development. It is emphasized that culture and language remain fundamental sources of formation of the information and communication environment in the educational sphere despite the rapid development of the technological and digital cluster. The purpose of the research is to highlight pragmatic approaches to the organization of information and communication activities in university education. The author emphasizes the need to involve organizational and methodological guidelines to preserve the cultural and linguistic potential at the global, local and individual levels. The research methodology is focused on the general scientific methodological arsenal of the analytical direction, which is dominated by generalizations and comparative characteristics of the cultural and linguistic environment. Pragmatism is one of the key tools for organizing the worldview and mental characteristics of the modern scientific worldview. The higher education system needs constant confirmation of two main indicators – quality and efficiency. The results of the study indicate the active implementation of the principles of pragmatism in the linguistic and cultural segment of educational activity. A promising area of research is to highlight the features of interdisciplinary potential in the cultural and linguistic cluster of the higher education system. Thus, the pragmatism of modern cultural and linguistic activity in the higher education system is focused on increasing the level of informative and communicative support of the educational process through the introduction of interdisciplinary and multicultural mechanisms.
