Summary/Abstract: A significant number of new religious movements are emerging with claims and discourses of healing physical illnesses and spiritual healing. It is known that one of the ways in which movements of Far Eastern and Indian origin attract people is by offering healthy living, personal development, and alternative treatment methods. Movements that stand out with their healing practices aim to gain supporters by influencing potential members, while at the same time increasing the loyalty of their existing supporters to the movement. This situation reveals the importance of examining the healing practices of these movements from various angles and revealing their impact on people. Based on the example of some movements that stand out with their healing properties, this study examines the healing practices of new religious movements and how the material and spiritual methods put forward affect people, emphasizing that most of these practices do not actually have a share of reality, and that they are produced to attribute charismatics to the leader and strengthen his authority on the one hand, and to attract people to the movement by influencing them on the other.
