Summary/Abstract: The main purpose of this research is to determine the effect of health literacy level on COVID-19 vaccine literacy and to develop a model with path analysis based on these effects. This study investigates how health literacy influences COVID-19 vaccine literacy, using path analysis to model the relationship. Data were collected from 410 individuals aged 18+ at a Family Health Centre in Bursa, Turkey (February-March 2022). In this study, quantitative analysis method was used and data were collected by face-toface survey method. Convenience sampling method was used in the research. In the research, descriptive statistical analyzes, normality tests, explanatory factor analysis, difference analysis methods and path analyzes were applied. Data obtained from a total of 410 individuals were evaluated with IBM SPSS Statistic Base 23V and AMOS package programs. The Cronbach Alpha coefficients of the ‘Health Literacy in Turkey’ (32) and ‘COVID-19 Vaccine Literacy’ (12) scales, which constitute the variables of the study, were found to be 0.945 and 0.833, respectively. Based on the findings obtained as a result of the analysis, 7 hypotheses were accepted and 5 hypotheses were rejected. In the study, the effect of the participants who applied to Bursa Panayır Family Health Center on the COVID-19 vaccine literacy level of the participants with a high level of health literacy was revealed. The findings obtained from the path analysis show that the construct validity of the model is provided. Since the reliability coefficient is found as Alpha = 0.936, the reliability of the model is also quite high.
