Summary/Abstract: This paper analyzes the role of codes of professional and ethical conduct as a significant instrument in contemporary labor law. Although not formally classified as traditional sources of law, these codes are increasingly gaining normative relevance, especially when integrated into employment contracts, collective agreements, or internal employer regulations. The first section examines the legal nature of such codes, their para-legal status, and their influence on judicial practice. The second section explores their preventive and cultural function, emphasizing the role of codes in conflict prevention, building trust among employees, and promoting organizational ethics. The conclusion synthesizes the findings and highlights the transformative potential of these codes as a tool for regulating and ethically emancipating labor relations in an increasingly complex business and social environment.
