Interdependence of the Process of Storage and Successful Operations of the Enterprise

Summary/Abstract: Storage in a production or trade company has a direct impact on the business process, by reducing the accompanying costs of transport, storing materials and goods, by approaching the warehouse to the production process, conditional on the reduction of the cost of the finished product, which increases the possibility of obtaining a higher profit. Storage functions are being paid special attention nowadays, a lot of software solutions are invested in order to provide employees with an easier insight into inventory status. The paper deals with the storage process through the definition to the determination of the optimized locations. The basic hypothesis that warehousing and the success of business in a dietary relationship proved correct, because without a well-organized portion of the storage and distribution of finished products and goods there is no successful business process.
