Instruments for Supporting the Development of Entrepreneurship by Local Government Units and the Model of Functioning of the Local Economy on the Example of Selected Municipalities in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship – Part Two

Summary/Abstract: This article continues the study initiated in 2023 and published in issue 195 of Studia i Prace KZiF. Itsaim is to present potential instruments for supporting the development of entrepreneurship in localgovernment units of selected municipalities in Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, based on differentmodels of local economic functioning. In the first part of the study, the author analysed three models:(1) applicable in the largest cities of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship, (2) in suburban municipalitiesin the areas of Bydgoszcz and Toruń, and (3) in municipalities located near the junctions of the A-1and S-5 roads. The current study examines three additional models: (4) in multifunctional municipali-ties located in peripheral areas relative to the main centres of the province, (5) in other multifunctionalmunicipalities, and (6) in urban municipalities where the development of entrepreneurship is primar-ily determined by the limited size of the administrative area and the availability of investment zones.
