Summary/Abstract: Perpetrators of criminal activity come into contact with risk factors voluntarily and at their own risk, which does not apply to other persons who come into contact with them – for example, children living in the same household or intervening staff. They are exposed to high concentrations of chemical substances, including psychoactive ones, although the doses are lower than in the case of its abuse. However, involuntarily exposed persons tend to be affected proportionally the most, even if only by the length or frequency of stay in a long-term contaminated environment, as the micro-contamination of the building remains active for 10-15 years. Knowing the spread and effect of microdoses of methamphetamine on human physiology is a key element enabling the identification of a number of hitherto unsolved or tolerated health problems that fundamentally limit work performance and quality of life - and to effectively eliminate them in a short time. The paper summarizes knowledge and discusses the possibilities of improving the standard of living of people involuntarily affected by the illegal production of psychoactive substances.
