Participation of deputy Jan Godek in the work of the Constituent Sejm on the Act of 17 February 1922 on the State Civil Service

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the role of deputy Jan Godek in the work of the ConstituentSejm on the act of 17 February 1922 on the state civil service. At the beginning the biog-raphy of Jan Godek is presented. In this fragment special emphasis is put on his parlia-mentary activity and work as a civil servant. The next part presents his participation in thework on the act on the state civil service as the rapporteur of its draft. This passage containsa treatment of the parliamentary debate on the content of official pragmatics, wherein Go-dek participated as a rapporteur. Furthermore, it presents his arguments for the acceptanceor rejection of several regulations.
