Summary/Abstract: Governments in the region are intensively trying to decentralize production in the energy sector by encouraging the construction of power plants from renewable energy resources. In such circumstances, the connection of production units must be strictly monitored by checking the possibility of delivery the produced power and energy in the planned connection point already in the investment planning process itself, that is, during the construction justification study. The Network Code and the Connection Rulebook define the procedure for issuing conditions for connection to the electricity transmission network in BiH, with the obligation to prepare the Elaborate. The subject paper will present the necessary way of looking at the possibility of connection and placement of produced power and energy at a certain point of connection already in the phase of investment planning and preparation of the justification study for the construction of the power plant, before the phase of investment realization enable preparation of Elaborate. For these purposes, the presentation of the study approach to planning will be used on the example of a photovoltaic power plant (hereinafter referred to as FNE), with an installed capacity of 80 MW, planned to be connected to the 110 kV voltage network.
