Summary/Abstract: The present work is intended to be short research of a desire that penetrates more and more incisively into the deepest feelings and desires of man. The perpetuation of some more or less exaggerated worries in order to know a transitory and momentary good, create situations that bring us to the position of the seed that falls among the thorns, in the inability to acquire the peace that gives birth to the good, due to the deepening of external things, more than the inner ones. And in this flight or continuous running after a finite, transitory, material good, man separates himself from communion both with others, sometimes stepping on corpses, enjoying his happiness in solitude, and from communion with God who bestows eternal good. The only answer to the absurd choices that man makes in order to be "good" is neurosis, the anguish of failure that will lead to isolation and social death. As a remedy, to overcome the psychological plane of egoism, there remains the encounter with Christ who is always there, even before we set out in search of Him.
