DISPLAYING VARIABLES IN DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS

Summary/Abstract: Every intention to realize a business idea requires research of the environment using modern scientific methods. Collecting and studying the information received is unthinkable without the application of statistics in all phases. Statistical methods are used to describe and analyze the measured phenomena and to generalize, or to conclude, the situation in the wider population at the level of the set of collected data.The paper presents the techniques and methods used for collecting, sorting, displaying and various mathematical operations for calculating descriptive parameters. Ways of displaying data in tabular and graphical form has been described and illustrated. The assumption is that using appropriate statistical methods can provide more quality research of environment and reduce the risk of entrepreneurial failure.
