Summary/Abstract: This article aims to examine the renowned jewellery collection attributed to Wiktoria Kawecka, a prominent figure in Warsaw’s pre-war operetta scene. During the height of her career in the early 20th century, Kawecka was reputed to have assembled a collection of exceptional jewels, regarded as among the most significant in the Polish territories of the time. The style of jewellery worn by Kawecka, with its predominant diamond adornments, reflected the jewellery trends in Europe at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. In the absence of surviving archival records concerning this legendary collection, the analysis draws upon available resources, including contemporary press articles, iconographic materials, and memoir literature.
